CONGRATULATIONS to everyone getting their results! It’s a big day, so take a breath before diving into the paperwork. Since the SPM 2025 results were released on March 31, 2026, here are the key deadlines you need to keep on your radar:
Important Note: Make sure to double-check that you’ve clicked “Simpan“ or “Hantar“ on your UPU application—you’d be surprised how many people forget that final step!
1. UPUOnline Application Deadline
The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) has extended the deadline specifically to give SPM leavers more time to react to their results.
New Deadline: April 12, 2026 (by 5:00 PM).
Action Needed: If you haven’t applied yet, you must purchase a UPUOnline PIN from Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) for RM10.60 before you can submit.
Pro Tip: Don’t wait until the last minute (April 11 or 12), as the system often gets congested and slow due to the high volume of applicants.
If you feel a particular grade doesn’t reflect your performance, you can appeal for a recheck through the Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia (LPM).
Deadline: You generally have 30 days from the date the results were announced.
Closing Date: Roughly April 29 or 30, 2026.
How to Apply: You can do this online via the e-Lembaga Peperiksaan portal.
Fee: There is a fee involved for each subject you wish to have rechecked.
If you need to retake Bahasa Melayu, History, or Mathematics to qualify for certain courses:
Registration Deadline: April 30, 2026.
Late Registration: Applications made after April 30 (starting May 1) usually incur an additional late processing fee of RM150.00.
